Grief Book Circle with special author Q & A

Two-month online container, four live calls

Exploring Grief through the book CG

One hour Q&A with the book author, Claire Bidwell Smith

You don't have to carry grief alone.
This fall, join Christine and Shanna for a small guided group circle walking through grief — with guided reading, reflection, and real conversation.

Grief is a lifelong journey — from the acute weight of new loss to the waves that return long after someone we love has died. This circle is a place to be met in that journey, not rushed through it.

Together we'll explore Conscious Grieving: A Transformative Approach to Healing from Loss by Claire Bidwell Smith. This book introduces moving through grief in four stages — Enter, Engage, Surrender, and Transform — as a way of understanding grief not as something to fix, but something to live alongside.

This is an educational and reflective space for thoughtful adults who want to understand their own grief — or the grief of someone they love — through a conscious, compassionate lens.

INSIDE THE CIRCLE YOU’LL RECEIVE:

  • Live Grief Circle calls (on Zoom) with Christine and Shanna — somatic-based grief coaching and guided reflection, held together in real time

  • A one-hour live Q&A with Claire Bidwell Smith, author of Conscious Grieving — a rare chance to bring your questions directly to the person whose framework is guiding this journey

  • Guided reading and reflection prompts to move through Enter, Engage, Surrender, and Transform at your own pace between calls

  • Group text support between sessions — so you're not carrying what comes up alone in the days between circles

  • A small, intentional group — this isn't a large webinar; it's a space built for being seen

Investment: $111

A container held for you, across five weeks.

If cost is a barrier to joining this circle, please reach out — we never want money to be what keeps someone from support.

Her work is rooted in the principles of Yoga and Somatics, and informed by her training as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Women’s Health Coach, Elementum Life Coach, and Grief & Loss Provider.  She brings a steady, compassionate approach to supporting people through loss—honoring the wisdom of the body, mind, and spirit.
After losing her mother to suicide in her early 20s, Christine came to understand that grief is not something to overcome, but a lifelong journey. In her work, she creates compassionate spaces where people can learn about grief, gently reconnect with their bodies through yoga & somatics, and build resilience at their own pace—moving forward in ways that honor both loss and life.

Shanna Williams is a Certified Trauma-Informed Somatic Coach, Professional Astrologer and Regenerative Farmer, specializing in grief and nervous system care. She approaches healing through a holistic lens, guided by a deep respect for the body’s intelligence and its role in navigating change.

After losing her father at sixteen and experiencing a series of losses in the years that followed, grief became a long-term companion in Shanna’s life. Over the past nineteen years, this journey has taught her that grief is not something to overcome, but something to be lived with—supported by community, nervous system care, and a compassionate relationship to our mind, body, and spirit.
